Baked Tomatoes Stuffed with Chicken and Cheese

Prepare the necessary ingredients. Choose ripe but firm tomatoes to help them hold their shape while baking. You can substitute mushrooms with any other type.

Peel and rinse the onion under running water, then finely chop it.

Rinse the mushrooms, pat them dry with a paper towel, and cut them into small cubes.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, then add the mushrooms and onions. Sauté over medium heat for 7–10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Rinse the chicken fillet and pat it dry with a paper towel. Cut it into small pieces.

Add the chicken to the pan with the mushrooms and onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Fry for another 10 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.

Wash and dry the parsley and dill. Finely chop them and add to the chicken and mushrooms, then mix well.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash and dry the tomatoes. Cut off the tops and carefully scoop out the pulp and seeds with a spoon.

Fill the hollowed-out tomatoes with the prepared filling.
