How do you make stuffed squid in sour cream sauce in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Thaw the squid. Boil the eggs hard and let them cool in advance.

Pour boiling water over the squid, rinse them, and remove the skin. Remove the quill (cartilage) and the insides.

Pour water into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the squid to the boiling water. Once it returns to a boil, cook for about 40 seconds and cool. Do not cook longer, or they will turn rubbery and unpleasant.

Wash the mushrooms, pat dry, and finely chop.

Peel the onion and finely chop.

Grate the cheese using a fine grater.

Peel the hard-boiled eggs and grate them finely.

Chop the herbs. Peel the garlic and press it through a garlic press.

Pour vegetable oil into a skillet. Sauté the mushrooms over medium heat.

When the excess moisture has evaporated, add the onion and sauté until lightly golden. Add salt and pepper.

In a bowl, mix the mushrooms, eggs, cheese, garlic, herbs, and 3 tablespoons of sour cream.

Preheat the oven to 180°C / 356°F. Using a spoon, fill the squid with the prepared stuffing.

Place the squid in a baking dish, pour over the sauce, and bake for about 15 minutes in the preheated oven at 180°C / 356°F. The exact time depends on your oven.
