Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200C.

Season both sides of the salmon and arrange them on a greased baking sheet or roasting tin.

In a bowl, mash together the cream cheese with garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon rind until smooth.

Divide this mixture into six portions and spread each evenly over the top of the salmon.

Combine the breadcrumbs, parmesan, and parsley in a small bowl, seasoning to taste.

Sprinkle this breadcrumb mixture over the cream cheese layer, then dust with paprika.

Bake the salmon in the oven for about 15 minutes, or until the fish changes from translucent to an opaque pink, indicating it’s cooked through.
