Preparation
Step 1
Dice the avocados into medium cubes. Chop the tomatoes and cucumber. Slice the onion thinly. Slice chili if using.
Step 2
In a bowl, gently mix the avocado, tomato, onion, cucumber, and chili. Be careful not to mash the avocado too much.
Step 3
Drizzle with lemon or lime juice. Add olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Toss gently until everything is coated.
Step 4
Enjoy immediately with jollof rice, grilled chicken or fish, waakye, fried yam or as a fresh, light snack on its own!
