Step 1
Place the avocado flesh into a food processor. Add the bananas, breaking them into smaller pieces as you add them. Tip in the cocoa powder, vanilla extract, orange extract, orange zest, maple syrup, dates, and milk.

Blend everything together until the mixture becomes completely smooth, creamy, and evenly combined, stopping to scrape down the sides if necessary to ensure a uniform texture.
Step 3
Spoon the finished mousse evenly into individual glass bowls or serving dishes. Finish by grating chocolate over each portion. You can also sprinkle it with chopped nuts and a pinch of sea salt flakes before serving.
