Easy
About 30 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Choose unsweetened or slightly salted crackers.
Step 2
Grate the crab sticks finely.
Step 3
Boil the egg hard. To make hard-boiled eggs without cracks, place them in cold water and heat over low heat. Once boiling, cook for 7-8 minutes, then pour cold water over them to cool. The temperature shock will help peel the shell more easily. Peel the egg and grate it finely.
Step 4
Wash, pat dry, and finely chop the dill. You can substitute parsley if desired.
Step 5
In a bowl of suitable size, combine the crab sticks, boiled egg, and dill. Add mayonnaise and mix well.
Step 6
Slice hard cheese into 1/16–1/8 inch (2–3 mm) thick slices. Cut out “rabbit ears” from the cheese.
Step 7
To shape the rabbit’s head, you can use a small container from a Kinder Surprise egg. Alternatively, shape it into a ball and slightly flatten the bottom so it sits steadily on the cracker.
Step 8
Place the shaped crab stick mixture onto the cracker. Insert the cheese ears on top. Cut small pieces from olives and bell peppers to make the rabbit’s eyes and mouth.
Step 9
Arrange the appetizers on a plate, garnish with greens and vegetables, and serve. Enjoy!
