Preparation
Step 1
Scoop ice cream into four small bowls, ensuring there's just enough room for the espresso to pool around the base. Just before serving, prepare fresh espresso shots - one for each bowl.
Step 2
Serve each bowl alongside a hot espresso. Pour the espresso over the ice cream just before eating and enjoy immediately while the ice cream is still firm and the coffee warm.
