Tomato Stew (Base Stew for Many Meals)

Red chilli pepper

- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and fry until soft and slightly golden. Add grated garlic and ginger, chopped chili (optional). Cook 1-2 minutes.
Step 2
Add tomato paste and fry for 2 minutes to remove bitterness.
Step 3
Add chopped tomatoes tomatoes. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thick and rich.
Step 4
Season with curry powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Step 5
At this point you can add you protein to the stew. It can be canned tuna, boiled eggs, any cooked meat. After adding protein let it simmer for 5 minutes and then serve it with rice, pasta or bread.
