Three-Cup Apple Crumble Cake
Very simple, fast, and tasty for the whole family! Even a beginner can make this three-cup apple crumble cake. The “dough” takes 1 minute: just combine and mix.

Step 1
How do you bake a three-cup apple crumble cake? Prepare all the needed ingredients. Use just a pinch of vanillin - more can make the baked goods bitter. You can replace it with vanilla sugar (1 tbsp). Choose juicy sweet-and-tart apples.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine sifted flour, sugar, semolina, vanillin, and salt. Mix well. Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts.
Step 3
Wash and dry the apples, peel them, and grate on a coarse grater. Divide the grated apples into 3 equal parts. Since grating takes time, the apples may darken depending on the variety - this is fine. The layered look will still be nice.
Step 4
Line the bottom and sides of a baking pan (20-22 cm / 8-9 in) with parchment paper. Spread the first part of the dry mixture evenly over the bottom. Evenly spread 1 part of the apples on top.
Step 5
Continue alternating the layers until the apples are used up. The last layer should be the dry mixture.
Step 6
Grate chilled butter over the top and spread it evenly across the whole surface. For easier grating, place the butter in the freezer ahead of time.
Step 7
Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C / 356°F for about 1 hour 20 minutes, adjusting to your oven. The top should brown. Remove the cake and cool completely. Then remove from the pan, cut into pieces, and serve. Enjoy!
