Spicy Meat Kebabs

Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl, mix garlic, ginger, tomato paste, paprika, curry powder, thyme, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Add the oil and stir into a thick paste.
Step 2
Cut beef into cubes and toss them into the marinade and mix well to coat evenly. Cover and let marinate for at least 1 hour (or overnight in the fridge for deeper flavor).
Step 3
Remove seeds from both bell peppers and cut them into squares. Cut an onion into squares.
Step 4
Thread the meat cubes onto skewers, alternating with onion and bell pepper pieces. (If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 15-20 minutes beforehand to prevent burning.)
Step 5
Grill over medium-high heat for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until the meat is nicely browned and cooked through.
Step 6
Serve with rice, fried plantains and spicy sauce.
