Spiced Fried Turkey (Chofi)

- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
Place them in a pot and season with all the spices. Mix well so the meat is fully coated with the spices.
Step 2
Add a small amount of water (just enough to steam). Cover and cook on medium heat for 20-30 minutes until the turkey is tender. Remove the turkey from the pot and let it dry slightly.
Step 3
Heat oil in a deep pan. Fry the turkey pieces until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Step 4
Chofi is best served hot with yam chips, fried plantains, shito (Ghanaian black pepper sauce), rice
