Easy
About 20 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Choose good-quality spaghetti made from durum wheat so they don’t fall apart while cooking. For the chicken fillet you can take meat from any boneless part of the chicken. Add garlic to taste.
Step 2
Cut the chicken meat into large pieces. Heat a frying pan well and pour in a little vegetable oil. Put the chopped chicken into the pan and fry on all sides until golden.
Step 3
Peel the onion and garlic and rinse under cold water. Finely chop the onion. The garlic can be cut into small pieces or passed through a garlic press.
Step 4
Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pan with the chicken. Stir and fry everything together for a couple of minutes. Then pour in a little hot water and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Add a bit of salt and spices to taste. I use paprika and dried basil, but you can choose any spices you like or limit yourself to just ground pepper. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer the meat over low heat for about 15 minutes (judge by your stove).
Step 6
Separately, cook the spaghetti in boiling water. Boil them according to the instructions on the package; usually it takes about 15 minutes. The spaghetti should become soft but not overcooked. Drain the cooked spaghetti in a colander and rinse with cold water.
Step 7
At the end of cooking, pour the cream into the chicken and stir.
Step 8
Heat the chicken in the cream for another 2-3 minutes on the stove. You can add the spaghetti directly into the pan with the sauce and mix everything together.
Step 9
Or place some spaghetti on a plate and spoon the chicken in cream sauce over the top. Enjoy your meal!
