Ingredients
Preparation
Step 1
Salt the duck. Any part of the bird will work - I’m using drumsticks, wings, and thighs.
Step 2
Add freshly ground black pepper.
Step 3
Press the garlic through a garlic press.
Step 4
Mix everything well and set aside for a while.
Step 5
Rinse the rice several times until the water runs clear.
Step 6
Drain the cloudy water completely.
Step 7
Cut the baking sleeve to the needed length, tie one end, and pour the rice inside.
Step 8
Finely chop the onion.
Step 9
Add the onion to the sleeve.
Step 10
Cut the carrot into any shape you like - I diced it.
Step 11
Add the carrot to the sleeve.
Step 12
Add green peas - I’m using frozen ones, but fresh peas work too.
Step 13
Add bell pepper - mine is frozen, but fresh works as well.
Step 14
Add salt.
Step 15
Mix everything right inside the sleeve. I used a baking bag instead of a sleeve today - it’s very convenient since one end is already sealed, but otherwise, it works the same way.
Step 16
Place the prepared duck pieces on top.
Step 17
Pour in 0.5 liters (2 cups) of water.
Step 18
Tie the other end of the sleeve.
Step 19
Place the sleeve on a baking tray and bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35 minutes.
Step 20
After that time, remove the dish from the oven, cut open the sleeve, and bake for another 10 minutes.
Step 21
After the indicated time, your dish is ready!
Step 22
Enjoy your meal!
