Puff Pastry Twists with Sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Use ready-made puff pastry for convenience. Keep a pack in the freezer. If frozen, thaw at room temperature.
Step 2
Lightly flour the surface and roll out the soft pastry to 1-2 mm thickness.
Step 3
Sprinkle sugar evenly over the surface.
Step 4
Roll the dough from both sides toward the center. Brush a little water in the middle to seal the halves together.
Step 5
Cut the rolled dough into 1.5-2 cm wide pieces. Roll each piece in sugar on all sides.
Step 6
Line a baking tray with parchment and place the twists spaced slightly apart, as they will expand while baking. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 15-20 minutes. Adjust according to your oven.
Step 7
Twists will turn golden and caramelized at the bottom. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and enjoy!
Step 8
Delicious with tea, coffee, juice, or milk.
