Poultry Cutlets
Easy to cook, perfect both for a festive table and for every day! These poultry cutlets are prepared in an unusual way. First, they have a tasty filling. Second, they are cooked in batter, so the chicken mince doesn’t dry out and the cutlets stay wonderfully juicy!

Preparation
Step 1
How to make poultry cutlets? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. I will cook the cutlets from chicken mince, but you can use mince from any other bird, for example turkey. The mince can be store-bought or homemade. Boil the eggs in boiling water for 7-9 minutes, then cool them in cold water.
Step 2
Peel the onion and garlic and finely chop them together with 1-2 slices of white bread. The bread is needed to absorb part of the moisture from the mince.
Step 3
Add the chopped bread with onion and garlic to the chicken mince. Then crack in one egg. Add a little salt and spices to taste. Mix all the ingredients and beat the whole meat mixture against the bottom of the bowl so it becomes denser.
Step 4
Prepare the batter. For this, combine the milk, eggs, flour and salt. Mix.
Step 5
Adjust the amount of flour according to the consistency of the batter. If you want a thick batter, you will need more flour; for a thinner one, less. Mine is rather thin.
Step 6
For the filling, peel the eggs and grate them together with the cheese. Add the softened butter and salt.
Step 7
Mix in the chopped herbs to finish the filling.
Step 8
From the meat mixture form small flat patties and put a little filling in the center. Then close the cutlet around the filling, dip it in the batter and place it into a hot frying pan.
Step 9
Fry the cutlets for 2-3 minutes on each side with a small amount of vegetable oil.
Step 10
The ready cutlets will turn golden in color. Do not use very high heat so that the cutlets have time to cook through inside.
Step 11
Transfer the chicken cutlets from the pan onto a paper towel to remove excess oil. Serve the cutlets hot with any side dish you like. Enjoy!
