Easy
About 20 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Choose boneless pork - neck or ham cuts work perfectly.
Step 2
Cut the pork into small serving-sized pieces and lightly tenderize them with a meat mallet.
Step 3
Grease a skillet with vegetable oil and place the meat pieces inside. Spread mayonnaise evenly over the surface of the meat. Sprinkle lightly with salt and spices, remembering that mayonnaise already contains salt.
Step 4
Peel and rinse the onions. Slice them into half-rings and spread evenly over the meat. If you’re cooking a larger portion, you can repeat the layers.
Step 5
Cover the skillet with a lid and cook over low heat for 40-50 minutes, until the pork is tender.
Step 6
Once cooked, the meat will slightly shrink, and the onions will become soft and almost melted. The pork fibers absorb the mayonnaise, becoming juicy and tender.
Step 7
The Pork Stewed in Mayonnaise is ready! Arrange it on plates and serve. It goes perfectly with mashed potatoes or any side dish. Enjoy!
