Easy
More than 1 hour.
Preparation
Step 1
Start by taking a piece of pork, rinse it, and pat dry with paper towels. Cut the meat into medium-sized cubes. Lightly tenderize the pieces to help them absorb the marinade faster. Place the meat into a deep bowl.
Step 2
Peel the onion and slice it into thick rings. Add it to the meat.
Step 3
Pour table vinegar into the bowl with meat and onions, then add mayonnaise, a bit of kebab seasoning (or any meat spices you like), and salt if needed. Mix everything well but gently to avoid breaking the onion rings. Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to marinate.
Step 4
While the meat marinades, soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes - this helps prevent sticking. After marinating, remove the bowl from the fridge. Thread the meat and onion rings onto the skewers, about 4–5 pieces of meat per skewer.
Step 5
Pan-sear the skewers on all sides until a golden-brown crust forms.
Step 6
Transfer the skewers to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes at 400°F (200°C) until fully cooked. Optionally, turn them halfway through. Serve the pork skewers with a side dish or fresh vegetables and flatbread. Enjoy!
