No-Bake Savoiardi Cookie Cake

Step 1
How to make a cake from Savoiardi cookies: take the Savoiardi and cut them to the desired length for the cake border. Arrange them around the edge of the pan with the sugar side facing out.
Step 2
Combine strawberries with sugar and blend until you get a strawberry syrup for soaking.
Step 3
For the cream, whip cold heavy cream in a chilled bowl. Add powdered sugar, mix well with a mixer, then add cream cheese. Blend until smooth and uniform.
Step 4
To assemble the cake, dip each Savoiardi cookie into the strawberry syrup on both sides.
Step 5
Arrange the soaked cookies tightly in a 9–10 inch (23–25 cm) cake pan. Fill any gaps with small pieces of cookie.
Step 6
Spread a layer of cream on top, then repeat with another layer of Savoiardi and cream. You should have about 3 layers of each.
Step 7
Place the cake in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. Before serving, decorate with fresh strawberries. Enjoy your delicious dessert!
