About 10 min.
Preparation
Step 1
You can use any kind of ground meat - chicken, beef, pork, or turkey. I’m using pork. The pasta can also be any shape - elbows, penne, or spaghetti - choose what you like.
Step 2
Bring water to a boil, add a little salt, and cook the pasta according to the package instructions - usually 7-10 minutes. It should be tender but not mushy. Drain the pasta in a colander and let all the water run off.
Step 3
Peel and finely chop the onion. Sauté it in a small amount of vegetable oil for 1-2 minutes, until translucent.
Step 4
Add the ground meat to the pan with the onions. Cook, stirring, for 3-5 minutes until the meat changes color. Then add tomato paste, salt, and spices to taste.
Step 5
Continue frying everything together for about 5 minutes. If the meat is too dry, add a couple of tablespoons of water so it doesn’t burn.
Step 6
Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the meat and mix everything together.
Step 7
Heat the pasta with the meat for another 2-3 minutes, then remove from the heat. Navy-style pasta is ready! Serve hot on plates.
Step 8
You can serve it with fresh vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
