Step 1
How to easily prepare large-sliced marinated bell peppers for winter that everyone will love for their amazing flavor? First, gather all the necessary ingredients and spices for making marinated peppers in jars without sterilization.
Step 2
For the marinade, take a large enamel pot and place it on the stove. Pour in 1-1.5 liters (4-6 cups) of water and 200 ml (¾ cup) of vegetable oil.

Add 150 ml (⅔ cup) of 9% table vinegar.
Step 4
Add 250 g (1¼ cups) of sugar and 2 tbsp of salt, then stir everything together and bring the marinade to a boil over high heat.
Step 5
Prepare 3 kg (about 6.5 lbs) of bell peppers - cleaned and cut into large strips.
Step 6
Add the sliced bell peppers to the boiling marinade in three batches. Bring it to a boil again, stir, and cook for no more than 3 minutes to prevent overcooking.
Step 7
Into each sterilized jar, place 5 allspice peas, 2 bay leaves, 2 cloves, and cinnamon to taste. Then fill the jars tightly to the top with the boiled pepper strips and cover them with sterilized lids.

Pour the hot marinade into the jars up to the top, covering the peppers completely.
Step 9
Seal the jars tightly, turn them upside down to check for leaks, and cover with a warm blanket until completely cooled.
