A tasty, healing drink full of minerals and vitamins! Brewing rose hips without a thermos is easy and simple. You can drink it just as it is, without any extra additions. Because the drink is not boiled, the berries retain almost all of their beneficial nutrients.

Easy
About 1 hour.
Preparation
Step 1
Rinse the rose hips and pat them dry with paper towels. The vessel you use for brewing can be any material except aluminum. I usually use a glass teapot with an infuser.
Step 2
Lightly crush the rose hips in a mortar. You can skip this step and brew whole berries, but in that case you should increase the steeping time a little.
Step 3
Rinse the teapot with boiling water so the bottom and sides are not cold. Put the rose hips into the teapot. I also had a few fresh berries on hand and used them too.
Step 4
Pour the berries over with freshly boiled water. It is best to use bottled or filtered water for brewing. Tap water is also suitable if you normally drink it.
Step 5
Close the teapot with a lid and wrap it in a warm small blanket or towel. Leave to infuse for at least 1 hour.
Step 6
The healing drink is ready!
Step 7
You can drink it warm or cooled.
