Easy
About 20 min.
Preparation
Step 1
For more original flavour use oat or ginger biscuits.
Step 2
Place the biscuits into a freezer bag and crush them with a rolling pin until they resemble fine breadcrumbs.
Step 3
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low to medium heat. Combine the crushed biscuits and melted butter in a bowl, mixing until evenly coated. Spoon the mixture into the base of a tart tin and press down firmly to form an even layer.
Step 4
Spread the boiled condensed milk evenly over the biscuit base (if it is too dense, warm it a little in a hot water bath). Arrange the sliced bananas in a single layer on top, then cover the tart tin with cling film and chill in the fridge for one hour.
Step 5
Once the banoffee base has chilled, whip the cream and icing sugar together until soft peaks form. Spread the whipped cream evenly over the bananas.
Step 6
Just before serving, sprinkle the top with grated chocolate for the perfect finishing touch.
