Step 1
How to make this classic salad? Prepare all the ingredients from the list. Boil the carrots, potatoes in their skins, and eggs in advance. Boil the eggs in boiling water for 7-8 minutes. Drain the hot water and cool the eggs completely in cold water. Wash the potatoes and carrots, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Simmer over medium heat for about 20 minutes, until tender. Drain the water and let the vegetables cool. Drain the liquid from the peas.
Step 2
Peel the cooled eggs. Peel the carrots and potatoes. It’s convenient to do this with a sharp knife, simply scraping off the skin.
Step 3
Cut the smoked sausage into small cubes and transfer to a bowl for mixing the salad.
Step 4
Add the canned peas to the sausage.
Step 5
Dice the peeled carrots the same way (small cubes) and add to the salad.
Step 6
Add the chopped boiled eggs.
Step 7
Add the chopped boiled potatoes. Dress the salad with a small amount of mayonnaise and mix everything together.

If you like, add a little seasoning for a spicier taste - optional.
