Preparation
Step 1
Rinse the chicken breasts under running water and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. You can replace regular onions with several green onion stalks.
Step 2
Cut the chicken fillets into very small cubes. The finer you chop them, the more tender the fritters will be. To make slicing easier, slightly freeze the chicken beforehand.
Step 3
Peel the onion, rinse it in cold water, and chop very finely. Add it to the chopped chicken.
Step 4
Grate the cheese directly into the bowl. Add the egg, kefir, and flour. Season with a little salt and spices to taste.
Step 5
Rinse the parsley, finely chop it, and add to the bowl. Mix all ingredients until you get a uniform consistency. The batter should be neither too thick nor too runny. For extra fluffiness, add a pinch of baking soda.
Step 6
Use a wide frying pan for cooking. Heat it well, then add a little vegetable oil. Spoon small portions of the chicken mixture onto the pan and fry over low heat for 3-4 minutes per side.
Step 7
The fritters should turn a golden color. Make sure they are cooked through inside, so don’t rush or use high heat.
Step 8
The finished chicken fritters will be juicy and tender. Serve them with any side dish or fresh vegetables. They taste great both hot and cold. Enjoy your meal!
