Table of volume measurements:
- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
You can bake any part of the chicken under a “blanket.” I use a whole chicken.
Step 2
Cut the chicken carcass into pieces, rinse under running water, and pat dry thoroughly with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Step 3
Peel and slice the onions into half-rings. Pour a mixture of vinegar and water over them and let them marinate for about 15 minutes. Mix chopped garlic and finely cut herbs into the kefir.
Step 4
Peel the potatoes, rinse, and slice them into rounds. Use any ovenproof baking dish (I prefer ceramic). Grease the bottom and sides with vegetable oil, then arrange the sliced potatoes. Pour a bit of the kefir mixture over them and lightly salt.
Step 5
Place the chicken pieces on top of the potatoes and pour over the remaining kefir mixture.
Step 6
Slice the mushrooms and layer them over the chicken along with the marinated onions.
Step 7
Slice the tomatoes and grate the cheese. Arrange tomato slices over the mushrooms and sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 50-60 minutes.
Step 8
When done, the top will be golden and crispy. Remove from the oven and serve hot.
Step 9
Delicious and satisfying! Enjoy your meal!
