Preparation
Step 1
How do you make chicken hearts in sour cream in a skillet? Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
First, thaw the chicken hearts if needed and trim them. Cut off excess fat and vessels. Then slit each heart and remove the clotted blood - after cooking it can add bitterness. Rinse well under running water.
Step 3
Peel and chop the onion. Pour vegetable oil into a skillet and heat over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 5 minutes, stirring. If you like, cut the onion larger and use more.
Step 4
Add the prepared hearts to the skillet and fry everything for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring.
Step 5
Season the hearts with salt and pepper, add water and sour cream, and stir.
Step 6
Cover the skillet with a lid, reduce heat to low, and braise for 50 minutes, stirring occasionally. If the liquid evaporates, add a little hot water. The hearts should cook through and become tender. Remove from heat and serve right away.
Step 7
Enjoy your meal!
