Beef & Beet Patties
A quick skillet dish made from simple ingredients! These juicy, aromatic homemade patties with mixed ground meat, beetroot, and onion will please many and surprise with their wonderful flavor.

Preparation
Step 1
Start by preparing all necessary ingredients and spices for the aromatic meat-and-vegetable patties.
Step 2
Place 600 g (about 1.3 lb) of mixed ground meat into a large bowl. Finely chop or coarsely grate one onion and add it to the bowl with the meat.
Step 3
Using a fine grater, grate one medium peeled beet into a deep plate.
Step 4
Transfer the grated beet into the bowl with the meat and onion.
Step 5
Add one egg.
Step 6
Season with salt to taste, coriander, cumin, two cloves of pressed garlic, and a mix of ground black and red pepper.
Step 7
Mix everything thoroughly until the mixture is uniform.
Step 8
Take some of the mixture, slap it between your hands to compact it, and shape into patties.
Step 9
Coat each patty in breadcrumbs mixed with a bit of wheat flour.
Step 10
Heat a skillet with a thick bottom over the stove. Add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil, heat it, then place the breaded patties into the pan. Fry for about 5 minutes on medium heat on one side.
Step 11
Flip the patties, cover the skillet with a lid, and continue cooking for about 10 minutes on the lowest heat until fully cooked.
Step 12
Transfer the cooked patties to plates and serve with a side dish of your choice. Enjoy!
